The above warning was found on ...... wait for it ...
... a baby stroller (obviously an American one, since we call them pushchairs, but what the hey?)

In the land of the free there are no shortage of dumb asses, and some would not remove the child, and then of course, in the way they do it best... sue them. Hence the warning!
