Chez Blakey's, it's The Masters' job to swiff the floors.
A "swiff" is like a broom handle with a flat panel at the bottom, and you simply attache a duster-type cloth to the panel, go over the non-carpeted floors, let the cloth pick up the fluff, dust etc, then throw the cloth away. Not very eco-friendly, but actually quite quick, and almost fun - and a lot easier than hoovering.
But...
I've just seen something new:
http://www.therobomaid.com/newimages/RobomaidTrial.swfI want one!
Lost my template AGAIN!
Good job I backed it up last time!
Having said that the Xbox 360 is not on my list of must-haves, I've promptly ignored any promotion of specific 360 games.
Then I got a mail saying that Bioware are
producing a new game for it.
I love Bioware. I want their babies.
The trailer is shite (as in "short and not very useful", as opposed to looking like a shite game), but a couple of the screenshots look reeeaaall gooooood.
Sad day: The genius that is Ronnie Barker has passed onI loved The Sun's front page. Ronnie's glasses in the spotlight, with the caption "And it's goodnight from him". Short, pithy, and right on the nose.
Good day: Archie slept all night last nightOf course, in that first instance when I realised, I panicked, thinking he was dead. But fortunately, he grumbled at that point, so I knew all was well.
And it's only a phase: he went for his first vacinnations yesterday, and I understand that over-sleeping is a common reaction.
Bugger.
